Innovati was delighted to introduce its robotic development systems as well as several of its innovative robots on January 8th to January 11th, 2009 at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas.
Attendees at the show were fascinated by the number of degrees of freedom (DOF) of the TRANSFORMER while watching the 18-DOF MINI HEXAPODINNO - otherwise known as The SPIDER - crawling on its own all around the exhibition floor. One of the favorites among the hobbyists and vendors alike were the WALL-E look-alike Robot, which was to be found busying itself, moving around the hall following a black line, as well as the 16-DOF ROBOTINNO with its own robotic-style dancing maneuvers. The educational value of the Robotic Development System was certainly not lost on the attending teachers and educators who showed great interest and could appreciate its benefit in the college and university environment in introducing students to the fascinating world of robotic development.
All the robots kits are controlled by Innovati's own BASIC Commander, a single-board computer which can be programmed to implement any task of the users choosing. A wide range of different peripheral modules, which can all be controlled from the same BASIC Commander, can be easily added to the kits to build up a more functionally complex robot.
The Innovati robotic development system is not only an easy to learn system but is also certainly a highly educational product for all Robotic lovers. For information on how to purchase any of Innovati products in the USA, please contact Kowatec Corporation at 1-408-451-9779. |
