I/O Expansion Module - I/O Extender A

With Innovati's I/O Extender A Module, the user can obtain 3 additional ports (total 24 pins) in addition to those provided in the Basic Commander. Each pin can have the function and performance similar to those of the pin in the Basic Commander just by similar commands with the proper module name. In addition, there are various additional functions, such as the event detection of the signal variation on the pins, the counting of the input pulses, etc.

Applications:

• Add the functions to independently control the display status of several indicators at the same time.
• Provide the detection function of signal variations on each pin.
• With the A/D converter pins, an analog signal can be converted into a digital signal for the follow-up processing.

Product Features:

• There are 3 ports and each port has 8 pins, total 24 pins, providing the capability for even more applications.
• Provide the independent signal width measurement and signal pulse counting on each pin. The accuracy can be down to microsecond (.μs).
• Provide the independent variable frequency output on each pin.
• 8-channel analog to digital (A/D) measurement inputs.
• Provide the high voltage event detection on 8 pins and low voltage event detection on another 8 pins. It is possible to detect the voltage variation events on 16 pins at the same time.
