Question:
What is the cmdBUS protocol? What is the cmdBUS cable?
Answer:
The cmdBUS (command bus) protocol is developed by Innovati. It is developed based on the I2C protocol and enhanced with Innovati's featured “Slave to Master Interrupt” scheme, which provides the bi-directional communication capability. The cmdBUS cable is a 6-wired cable connecting the BASIC Commander and Peripheral Module for the cmdBUS protocol. See the “BASIC Commander and InnoBASIC Workshop User's Manual” for more detailed cmbBUS information.
